Pure quality,
pure innovation: Pure Steel+

Pure quality, pure innovation:
Pure Steel+

“Pure” stands for the high quality of our steel, which is already driving the transformation of energy and mobility today. “Pure” also stands for the drive and performance of our employees, whose dedication is making change possible, and their pride in being part of it. We mark our CO2-reduced steel with the plus sign. So that our customers around the world can immediately recognize the added value of our steel innovations, we apply it directly to our products.

Steel from Dillinger and Saarstahl is known throughout the world, from New York to Tokyo. It is used in impressive buildings such as the headquarters of the French daily newspaper “Le Monde” in Paris or the tallest building in London, the “Twentytwo”, in the safe tracks of European high-speed trains and in the majority of cars in Europe. We move great things: at our sites and for the world. This is what our shared brand stands for: “Pure Steel+. What does “Pure” stand for?

International and innovative

Steel from Dillinger and Saarstahl is known all over the world, from New York to Tokyo. It can be found in impressive buildings such as the headquarters of the French daily newspaper “Le Monde” in Paris and the tallest building in London – the “Twentytwo” – as well as in the safe tracks for Europe’s high-speed trains and in the majority of cars in Europe. We’re making big changes: At our sites and for the world. This is what the brand we share stands for: Pure Steel+.  What does “Pure” stand for?

  • For our pure expertise in quality steel. You’ll find our steel wherever quality counts – from power plants, machines, ships, and cars to the aerospace industry.
  • For a pure future that our products are already creating today – including in offshore wind turbines, solar power plants, railroad tracks, and electric cars. We are already accelerating the energy and transport transition.
  • For pure commitment to environmental and climate protection: An average of around ten percent of our investments in recent years have been spent on projects to improve our environment and energy efficiency. Now we are investing in the conversion of our production with our decarbonization project Power4Steel, with the aim to become carbon neutral by 2045.
  • For pure innovation: We are setting standards thanks to our superior know-how, highly advanced systems, and intensive research and development efforts.
  • For our centuries-long ties to the region where we live: pure tradition. We invest in our plants with the intention of securing local business locations and jobs, and to make them fit for the future.
